You could use the glue but it's not as good of bond and you have to hold the wire there for ever while the glue dries. Just buy a $6.00 soldering iron, small electronics soldier and some flux. Practice a few times soldering wires together or on a board you don't care about. Here is a way to solder for people who are new to it. Put a small amount of flux on the tip of the wire. Heat the wire and and the contact with the soldering iron. Then prep the soldering iron. To prep the soldering iron get a small ball of solder on the tip of it. Then put the wire to the contact and wipe that small ball of solder on there and pull up. It should give you a nice clean point just like a professional job. Plus you don't have to worry about making a mess with the solder all over the board.
